Many of these women were trafficked to be domestic workers and have experienced gender-based violence. All have faced severe labor violations.<\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To our knowledge, this project has created one of the largest data sets on domestic workers in the Gulf, and it is the first to investigate the life cycle of a woman migrant domestic worker from recruitment to repatriation using real-time and near real-time data. We also believe that this project is the first to combine research with support activities on the ground, revealing and addressing human trafficking, forced labour and other forms of abuses among Sierra Leoneans in Oman, and demonstrating the positive impact of justice-based interventions.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element album is produced by Sierra Leonean domestic workers in Oman who are seeking repatriation.
